Position Summary

Michigan State University Department of Radiology is recruiting a faculty radiologist (M.D. or D.O.) interested in pursuing an academic career in Body Imaging.  The successful candidate will be certified by either the American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan and have successfully completed a Body Imaging fellowship.  The successful candidate would also be required to perform some general radiology and procedures.  Michigan State University enjoys excellent clinical and research resources.  Schedule includes weekend and evening rotations.  The salary and rank are commensurate with experience.  Teaching of medical students, residents and fellows is required as is an ability or willingness to participate in all facets of imaging and intervention.

Required Degree

Doctorate -Radiology

Minimum Requirements

Certified or eligible to be certified by either the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or the American Board of Radiology, eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan.

Desired Qualifications

Successful completion of a fellowship in Body Imaging by July 1, 2019.

In addition to the minimum requirements, a pursuit of excellence and a commitment to current evidence based practices are among our core values and expected of candidates.  Experience in teaching activities with residents and fellows is desired.
